S. Marcus Jahns is a state and local governmental consultant with over 35 years experience. He has served as Interim City Manager for the City of New Braunfels, Budget Officer/Chairman of the Strategic Management Team for Bexar County, Executive Director of the Alamo Water Reuse and Conservation District, Assistant City Manager and Budget and Research Director for the City of San Antonio, Senior Management Consultant for one of the nation's major accounting firms, Budget Director for the City of Ventura, California and Senior Administrative Analyst for the City of Fort Worth.
In addition, Mr. Jahns taught public finance and urban management at Trinity University and the University of Texas at San Antonio as well as economics at Ventura College. He is a trained mediator and conducts mediations and arbitrations for the Bexar County Dispute Resolution Center.
Mr. Jahns holds a Bachelor of Arts in Public Administration and Economics and a Master of Public Administration from Texas Christian University. He is also a graduate of the Center for Public Policy Dispute Resolution at the University of Texas School of Law.
